Zebs Opening Times 2010:

Body & Soul Monday, 4.30 – 7.30

In these sessions we look at all sorts of things that will help you to lead healthy, happy lives.  Cooking healthy food, learning about looking after your body and your well-being and exploring lots of different issues that you find important and interesting.

Art & Beginners Music, Tuesday, 4.30 – 7.30 UNDER 13s only

In our session set aside for the younger age group we have messy fun with art, doing group projects exploring a range of topics, and giving young people the chance to create individual masterpieces of their own.  FREE music tuition is also available on this night, or you can just have a go on an instrument for fun!

Single Gender Space, Wednesday, 5.45 – 7.15 (F) / 7.30 – 9.00 (M)

We think that it is really important to have space away from the opposite sex where you can feel comfortable to talk about different things, and to just be silly and have fun!  Expect cooking, art, music, games… allsorts!

Activities Thursday, 6.00 – 9.00

Come in to join in on games just for fun or exploring different topics and issues, or just chill out and relax.

Feel Good Café Friday, 6.00 – 10.00

Come in, enjoy some tasty, healthy food from around the world (you can even have a go at cooking…!).   Learn how to cook, enjoy some grub and learn a bit about a new culture from around the world.

Chill Out Nite Saturday, 6.00 – 10.00

At last, somewhere to go on a Saturday night!  Come in, chill out, have some fun… simple!

Information, Advice & Guidance

Wednesday & Thursday, 1-5pm

If you feel that you need extra support from a youth worker we are available to speak to confidentially in these sessions.  We can offer support and guidance on a range of issues such as housing, quitting smoking, sexual health, drugs and alcohol and anything else you need.

This service is also available across the road at Truro Young People’s Centre.  Please ask for more details about opening times.

We also run a Freestyle programme for young people aged 14 – 19 currently not in education, employment or training. You can join our freestyle programme to enable you to work on areas of development to get you back into education, get onto a training course or gain employment.  Take part in a range of activities tailored to your needs, get support from youth workers and get valuable life and work experience that will help you to get back on track.    For more information please contact Donna Hobday – donnah@ypc.org.uk
